    Domenic Barranca

    Founder and President + Chief Creative Officer

    Domenic Barranca has been at the forefront of the digital revolution throughout the past fifteen-plus years, when the concept of mobile apps and solutions were just boxes and lines on a whiteboard.

    All of his digital pursuits have led him to the founding of the Monastery Vault.

    Professionally, Domenic has excelled in increasingly senior roles from Quality Assurance Lead, Digital Delivery Manager, Senior Mobile Strategist and Digital Transformation Lead. He has consulted for and worked with the likes of (but not limited to) Bank of Montreal, TD Bank, Bell Mobility, BlackBerry (Research in Motion), Wireless Payment Systems and the LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario.

    Domenic holds a Liberals Arts Degree in Communications and Sociology from York University in Toronto, Canada and a Masters’ of Science Degree in Telecommunications from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York (US).

    Domenic is also a member of Interactive Ontario.

    Andrew Barranca is a recent graduate of York University in Environmental Policy. He is driven by an entrepreneurial spirit to be a future leader in the tech industry.

    Shortly after his graduation, Andrew began the development of his first mobile application. Launched in 2016, SportSocial is a mobile app that connects people through their common interest in sports. He currently has numerous projects in development and is constantly seeking new and exciting concepts to work on.

    Vernon Freedlander is a technology and content executive. As a consultant, he helps his clients optimize their digital communications.

    Vernon began his career in broadcasting at CTV News as a National News Producer/Director. He contributed to iconic programs such as Canada AM, W5 and CTV National News with Lloyd Robertson. Vernon then joined Global News as Creative Director, where he launched Global National with Kevin Newman and led the network’s on-air rebrand. Vernon ran Global’s data visualization efforts and led development teams to create industry-leading, real-time graphics solutions that were used to drive mission-critical election broadcasts.

    Vernon left broadcast news to help launch tech start-up X2O Media (later acquired by Belgian hardware manufacturer Barco) as Vice President, Production. X2O developed and marketed an industry leading visual communications platform that allowed media and corporate clients to create, manage and strategically distribute real-time multimedia content to any screen, anywhere.
